Circuit Festival Barcelona

Barcelona , Spain
Now in its sixth year, Barcelona's signature gay 10-day festival just keeps getting bigger and better. More than 55,000 partygoers converge on this most romantic of cities to enjoy the Mediterranean beaches, bask in the sun, take in the city's fabulous architecture and history, and enjoy the sight of all those gorgeous Catalonian men — oh yes, and dance past dawn at more than a dozen official Festival party events. From night-to-afternoon big-room mega-events to water park takeovers, the biggest open-air series of parties in Europe has become one of the epicenters of the international party scene. Barcelona justifiably has become world famous as one of the major nightlife capitals, a place where the clubs start later than anywhere else and stay open later, too. Produced by Matinee, the Ibiza-based party-producing organization that has made such a splash on U.S. shores in recent years, this series of parties brings in the hottest men from Europe and points beyond. There's also one event in Sitges, the gay resort town only a quick train ride away from the city. Hit the gym if you're going to this one, because you won't be wearing much at any of the parties, and the competition is fierce. Then again, a friendly face and a few key phrases in the Catalonian dialect go a long way.
