Face it: We all have our drawer where we keep our gear for those "special events," whether public or private. If you're panting to let a lot of very hot men see what your ass looks like peeking through chaps, or if you're just looking to explore one of the world's biggest leather scenes, you have got to experience the International Mr. Leather weekend. Running over Memorial Day weekend in Chicago, this venerable event centers on a competition for the world's hottest leatherman. Once a niche event for hardcore leathermen, IML has expanded in recent years to include a more diverse crowd that likes to mix leather with pleasure — and plenty of dancing. Since its inception in 1979, the event has grown to an annual tradition for thousands in the leather community, casual and dedicated alike. There are more events than you can shake a riding crop at, including three nights of competition and two major dance parties. Both parties feature geared-up music devotees who revel in the music of equally hot DJs. Don't worry if you forgot your harness. No problem: Every day, there will be a Leather Mart, where you will find the world's largest variety of kink gear and toys befitting an internationally famous contest.
