October is the month for LGBT visibility, with National Coming Out Day, and GLAAD’s Spirit Day broadening what it means to come out.

People from across Texas and beyond will converge in Houston this October to celebrate National Coming Out Day with several key events. The weekend of October 8 and 9 will be packed with celebrations geared toward every taste.

Mayor Mike McGinn was among those who took part in the National Coming Out Day commemoration at Seattle City Hall on Thursday, Oct. 7.
